This series is one of my all time favorite manga series. Bakuman takes the typical manga/anime fan and shows a fantastic world behind the scenes for those in the industry. Watching Mashiro, Takagi, and Azuki work hard for their goals and dreams is inspiring. They don’t complain when it gets hard; they work harder…almost too hard at times. They have a deep love and passion for what they do, but they also don’t forget to treasure their friends, colleagues, and fans along the way. The series is finished, has an anime, and is well worth the time and investment.
